Oceanside

> There are somethings in life that I can not get enough of, and the ocean is one of them. Maybe it's because I was born under the sign of Aquarius, or named after the island of Lanni. Being sea side is a comforting zen feeling.

> We have cycled from Hue to Danang over a high mountain pass, 496 m in elevation, and back to sea level. Being the first test of our endurance in the mountains. Danang brings us to China Beach and the largest airfield in Vietnam. This is where many Americans were staged during the war.

> Vietnam does not boast of fame in surf culture, but after the war a competition was held in the monsoon driven waves. We may find another.

    How are you finding cycling on the roads? When I was there, I feared going around the triple bling corners in a vehicle... and I don't seem to remember bike lanes??

    Also upon your return I want to hear more about this island of Lanni!
